No-prep veneers are applied to teeth much faster. They take less time and virtually no preparation. No-prep veneers are a good option for patients who don’t want much wear and tear on their teeth. With regular veneers, the dentist performs some serious reshaping of the tooth enamel. However, no-prep veneers don’t require as much physical change to your tooth structure. In fact, no-prep veneers can be removed later. Keep in mind that your teeth could be affected in some way by installing and removing veneers.
Because our dentist doesn’t have to drastically alter your tooth’s surface with preparation, the structure of the tooth is preserved. You probably will not need any local pain killer injected in your gums because our dentist isn’t removing any enamel from your teeth.
